D20 3.root(-36): Races: Elf

Elves are one of the trickier Standard Fantasy Races to work into a story and still include everything that is common about them, simply because so many people take them in different directions. Are they graceful and aristocratic? Are they stalwart defenders of nature? Are they Things From Beyond that should be avoided at all costs? Are they the defenders of reality from the Things From Beyond? Are they magical? Are they immortal? Do they get on poorly with dwarves?

Naturally, using variants means that the answer is "All of the above."
